Carrie vs the man behind the mask part 2

As it stand in history thus far. the planned 13 friday the 13th movies still are a movie short. That is of course if you count Jason vs Freddy, which I do. the problem is that over the last couple decades Friday the 13th sequels have been few and far between. after the abortion of Jason takes Manhattan, the film series suffered a near fatal stroke. the final friday also known as Jason goes to hell, the 9th in the series tried to revive life in the series but quickly it slumbered yet again. not until the inevitable horror movie journey into space occurred. Jason X, most would have depicted this as the nail in the coffin but since Jason has a talent for escaping death to return from the grips of it's own demise, Jason vs Freddy was born. the movie some fans had waited for. for me it was 15 long years. i drew comics of my childhood heroes battling it out for the title of greatest killer of the late 20th century. unfortunately it was to late. by the 21st century not many were still interested. but i was. this marked the end of e genre that had roared and burned through the 1980's only to die very slowly in the 90's and finally die in the beginning of the 21st century. but Jason doesn't die so easily. and in the age of remakes the ultimate 12th movie of the hockey masked super powered machete wielding killer rose from the ashes of what was pretty much the dead corpse of superstition. but with this remake, perhaps it was to much. to many influences from the original films. now with no where to go friday the 13th has literally no new story to tell....... or does it?

Many would say that they have a favorite friday the 13th. typically most people say 4,6, or 7.

mine is 7.
friday the 13th part 7 the new blood for me was the ultimate glimpse as to where the movie franchise should go. what do i mean?

well if you're a fan reading this you know for a fact that part 7 was where Jason finally met his match. a teen girl with telekinetic powers. most people are in line with how awesome that really was. some people claimed it was to over the top and that some telekinetic was going to far beyond reality. HELLO jason is back from the dead again! i'm not going to say anymore.

well i decided to watch this masterpiece. it dawns on me. this movie could totally have a sequel. here's the tricky part. is it a sequel to friday the 13th the remake or friday the 13th part 7 the new blood? i mean they really did reboot the franchise. i say it's both. the events in the remake happened, so it's clearly that Jason. however, you grab Lar Par Lincoln
and you have her reprise her role from part 7. she has the same memories from that movie and it's now 25 years later and she has moved on with her life but, considering that the killings have started again, she feels compelled to return to crystal lake. there she encounters remake Jason. she can even have lines in the movie that have her recall him being far more decayed and gross from her recollection.

see bending the realities like that gives it something old and something new and makes it possible for people who like both versions to enjoy this movie.

it should be called Friday the 13th part 13
the conclusion.

end the series with the movie it deserves.
hell throw tommy Jarvis up in there too for good measure.
http://fridaythe13th.wikia.com/wiki/Tommy_Jarvis

Let the series end with the way any series of movies should with fans walking out the movie theater saying "holy shit! that just happened! that was amazing!"

if paramount and new line cinema see this blog you should take my advice and at least consider it.
and if you need any help let me know. ;P

no guns... unless it's mounted to a military vehicle right next to the rocket launchers.

The dark knight rises was ok.
I have seen a lot of people either really like it or absolutely hate it.
Plot holes blah blah blah.
Not realistic blah blah blah.
For me it holds to the same standard of the first 2.

without getting spoilery
i will say,

since batman begins, bruce wayne has not really made a decision of his own. this holds true all the way to the end of this trilogy,

there is no detective in this batman, pretty much in most of the movies.

i decided to watch batman returns the other day.

i actually cringed at the dialogue. it was so shitty and the moments of lets have each character do something character like was just awful.
in theory the movie is awesome.
blowing up clowns
jacking the penguin
hot chick in tight leather
Christopher Walken
tim burton film with no johnny depp

but as i sit there and watch realizing that this was the "more realistic" version of batman back in it's day. i wonder what fucked up beetlejuice saturn world does tim burton live in?you have 2 characters that in the comics don't even have powers or deformities.

now i bring this up because most people say the dark knight rises is not very realistic.
well let's just pretend real quick (because these are the same people that compare it to batman returns) that the dark knight rises and batman returns were historical documents and you were reading them as eye witness accounts to an event.

now who's version of what happened sounds more realistic?

penguin looking dude in the sewer teams up with cat powered catwoman to stop batman? frame him for murder and let the cops chase him.... that is until batman pulls a dj jazzy jeff (you know what i'm talking about.) and sends an angry mob after the penguin all frankenstein style because he talked shit about gotham or whatever it was. nevermind that batman murdering someone thing. that's in the past of last week. time to send an army of penguins to destroy gotham.

OR

well how do i put this with less spoilers.
hostile occupy gotham takeover by some dude in a mask terrorist situation. while some chick in tight leather with cat ears robs the shit out of the city or something. with a cops vs crooks battle that makes keystone looks like Cambodia.

i'll not go into the plot holes or even pretend they were not there, because they were HUGE!
i mean shit goes down and the government is like oh fuckin well. we have plans on top of plans for shit like this but eh gotham has the batman so let's just get some coffee.

ok ok ok

this is a spoiler. cause i have to say this.

when you lift some guy over your head and bring him down on your knee and that dislodges a bone in your spine. we'll pretend it doesn't paralyze you and you were just lucky it only put pressure on your spinal chord. i don't care if mr miyagi is your attendant they are not going to "pop" it back into place by spitting on their hands and slapping the shit out of your back in the same motion that it took to hurt it.

ok sorry

anyway.
the point is.

how many times has that scenario, happened where some super villain takes over a city in real life? never.
how many times does some clown hold the city in fear? well it could happen but not really.
how many times does a city get attacked by ninjas? well it happens in my town often but... nevermind

none of these batman movies are realistic because they are designed to entertain.

ok another spoiler

if you are one of those people who are like "how did he escape the explosion? there was no way." goto walmart and look for the bat vehicle that he flies in the movie it has a gimmick that explains it all for you.

i think i'm just going to stop here.

i liked the movie.
